To be honest, bananas have calories that come from fructose, known as sugar. But this particular sugar in banana has a high amount of fiber too. This prevents high blood sugar, which is not the case in any other sugary items. These fibers help in slowing down the digestion, which releases energy slowly for a long time period. A morning banana diet will help you stay energized throughout the day. Bananas are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber (as discussed), Fructooligosaccharide and tryptophan. Hence, this fruit acts as a perfect snack for a guilt-free diet plan.

When to Eat a Banana?

Having a banana as a snack consumed before your workout sessions is the best time to eat it. Consider eating one banana 10-15 minutes before workout. That way, you can utilize all the banana benefits during your workout session.

How Many Bananas to Consume Per Day?

I highly recommend two bananas per day. The calories that come from a banana are from fructose (sugar). It’s advisable to eat two bananas in a day for a moderate level of sugar from banana and weight loss regime diet. 

Can I Have A Banana For Weight Loss Diet?

Calorie limits are not meant to be crossed. Banana benefits you in giving energy for the workout. Hence it will not let you gain weight. However, if you cross your calorie intake limit, then there is a chance of weight gain. It’s advisable to eat under a limit.

How Can Banana Benefit My Body?

Bananas are rich in the following nutrients:

  • Potassium: for functioning of heart and digestion
  • Vitamin C: heals wounds and repair damaged cells and tissues
  • Vitamin B6: maintains nervous system
  • Manganese: maintain brain functions and forms connective tissues.
  • Dietary Fiber: Prevents constipation, high cholesterol, and high glucose level.
  • Biotin: Healthy for skin, eyes, hair, liver etc.
